Citations

Citations are the heart of Writeout. Every claim in a deliverable links back to where it came from, so you never have to take the output on faith.

How they work

• For video and audio, a citation points to the exact second in the source.
• For PDFs and articles, it points to the passage the claim was drawn from.
• Click any citation to jump straight to that moment or passage.

Why it matters

A research assistant helps you understand; Writeout finishes the work and shows its sources. Cited output means you can verify a claim in a click, quote it with confidence, and hand the deliverable to someone else without re-checking everything by hand.

Hover or click the citation marker next to a claim. The source opens at the referenced point so you can confirm the context for yourself.
